Woman Killed, 3 Hurt in 3-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 15 in Mission Valley

Corona Woman Dies, 3 Injured in Interstate 15 Accident near Friars Road in Mission Valley Wednesday

Mission Valley, California (April 3, 2020) – A woman was killed and three other people were injured Wednesday night in a multi-vehicle crash in Mission Valley, the California Highway Patrol reported.

On April 1, at around 9:50 p.m. a 2013 Mercedes C250, a 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche and a 2007 Honda Accord collided for unknown reasons on the northbound Interstate 15, just north of Friars Road. As a result of the collision, the Chevrolet overturned.

A 30-year-old Corona woman, who was driving the Chevrolet, died in the crash. Her passenger, a 52-year-old man, also from Corona, was taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital for treatment of major injuries.

The driver of the Mercedes, a 28-year-old man, suffered moderate injuries and a 27-year-old woman, who was riding as a passenger in the Honda, suffered minor injuries.

The Honda driver, a 22-year-old, was uninjured.

Investigators said neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected factors in the crash.

An investigation into the accident is underway.

Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, Mr. Arin Khodaverdian believes that car accident claims are rarely straightforward regardless of the circumstances involved. “Liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim and it is crucial, therefore, to have an experienced attorney on your side,” He said.

Mr. Khodaverdian has worked for many years as a wrongful death and personal injury attorney. He and his team of attorneys has helped thousands of injury victims and their families recover over $100 million in compensation. “In one case, we recovered a 7-figure settlement within 11 business days of being hired by the family of a victim who was killed by a negligent driver.”

Swift action by an experienced attorney helps preserve evidence, interview witnesses, and begin to pursue those responsible for the incident.
