Woman Hit and Seriously Injured by DUI Driver in Fullerton
Woman Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in Fullerton Pedestrian Accident at Orangethorpe Avenue and Euclid Street
Fullerton, California (March 3, 2020) – A female pedestrian suffered major serious after being hit by a vehicle Sunday night at an intersection in Fullerton, authorities said.
Shortly before 10:00 p.m. Sunday, March 1, officers received a report about the pedestrian accident at the intersection of Orangethorpe Avenue and Euclid Street.
According to the authorities, the woman was struck by a silver Honda sedan while she was crossing the Fullerton intersection.
The woman sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Her name and condition at this time were not immediately disclosed.
The Honda driver, Mustapha Baion, 34, of Fullerton, remained at the scene. He was arrested on suspicion driving while under the influence of drugs.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
