At Least 1 Hurt in Whittier Rollover Accident on Interstate 605 Freeway at Peck Road
Whittier, California (March 21, 2020) – At least one person was hurt following a two-vehicle collision that happened early Friday morning in Whittier, the California Highway Patrol reported.
As per the CHP report, a car collided with a box truck in the middle lanes of the Interstate 605 Freeway near Peck Road at around 5:28 a.m.
Due to the impact of the collision, the car flipped several times and faced the wrong way in the middle lanes.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department said the vehicle required a tow truck to remove it away from the crash site.
At least one person sustained unspecified injuries in the wreck. The victim was attended to by medical personnel and then transported to an area hospital for further treatment.
Limited details regarding the mishap have been released to this time.
