Possible Injuries Reported After Gardena Car and Box Truck Accident at Avalon and Compton Boulevards

Gardena, California (March 21, 2020) – One person was possibly hurt following a traffic collision that took place in the area of Gardena Thursday evening.

The California Highway Patrol said the accident involved a white box truck and a white Honda Civic that collided at the intersection of South Avalon and East Compton boulevards, near the Roy Campanella Park at around 7:42 p.m.

Due to the impact, the box truck acquired moderate front-end damage while the Honda Civic had major front-end damage.

One unidentified person was reported to have sustained injuries following the mishap. The victim was attended to by medical personnel along with Los Angeles County Fire Department, who responded at the scene shortly after the crash.
