1 Seriously Injured in Car Crash at Shingle and Barnett Ranch Roads in Shingle Springs

El Dorado County, California (April 7, 2020) – One person was hospitalized Sunday night following a traffic accident in Shingle Springs, El Dorado County, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

On April 5, at about 11:05 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the crash in the area of Shingle and Barnett Ranch roads.

As per the CHP report, a Chevrolet Tahoe collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Shingle and Barnett Ranch roads. One of the vehicles overturned upon the impact.

Authorities said one patient was taken to a hospital with major injuries. The name and condition of the victim were not immediately disclosed.

No other details about the accident were given.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
