Man Killed in Corona Pedestrian Accident at McKinley Street and Estelle Street Identified as Robert Alaniz
Corona, California (January 12, 2020) – The pedestrian who died after being hit by a vehicle Thursday night in the area of McKinley Street and Estelle Street in Corona has been identified as Robert Alaniz, 66, of Corona.
The accident took place at around 9:49 p.m. Thursday, January 9 at the intersection of McKinley Street and Estelle Street.
According to the authorities, Alaniz was walking eastbound along Estelle Street in or near the crosswalk on the south side of the Corona intersection when for an unknown reason, he was struck by a vehicle.
Alaniz was taken to Riverside Community Hospital, where his death was pronounced at about 10:30 p.m.
The Corona Police Department is investigating the accident.
