Rider Sustains Minor Injuries in San Jose Motorcycle Crash on 880 Freeway Near Brokaw Road

Minor Injury San Jose Motorcycle Accident on 880 Freeway Near Brokaw Road

San Jose, California (March 21, 2020) – A motorcyclist sustained minor injuries following a traffic collision that happened in the area of San Jose Friday night.

According to a California Highway Patrol report, a motorbike and a vehicle of unspecified type collided on the northbound side of 880 Freeway near E Brokaw Road off-ramp at approximately 7:44 p.m., March 20.

Due to the impact, the motorcycle was left with a detached rear wheel, while the other automobile ended up stalled in the center divider.

The motorcyclist was found laying in the high occupancy vehicle lane of the interstate by first responders who responded at the scene shortly after the mishap. The victim reportedly sustained minor injuries in the wreck.

The CHP is still investigating to identify the cause of the accident.
