1 Injured in Car Crash at Florin Road and Gardner Avenue in Sacramento Friday night

Sacramento, California (March 22, 2020) – One person was injured Friday night in a traffic accident in Sacramento, according to a report by California Highway Patrol.

At about 7:33 p.m. March 20, 2020, the CHP officers received a report of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Florin Road and Gardner Avenue.

A dark-colored Ford Mustang and a possibly a white Toyota sedan were involved in the crash, the CHP report states.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and provided medical aid to one party who suffered a neck injury as a result of the crash. The patient was then transported to Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center for treatment.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
