1 Injured in Pomponio State Beach Motorcycle Accident on Highway 1 near Highway 84

Pomponio State Beach, California (December 15, 2019) – A motorcyclist was flown to the hospital with major injuries following a collision with a car in Pomponio State Beach on Sunday afternoon.

According to a local news source, the motorcycle accident occurred on Highway 1 near Highway 84 at about 1:00 p.m.

The authorities said a motorcycle and a blue Lexus collided on the roadway for unknown reasons.

The unidentified rider is reported to have sustained a serious brain injury and broken bones and was flown to Stanford Medical Center for treatment.
