Person Killed in San Jose Pedestrian Accident on U.S. Highway 101 near Brokaw Road

San Jose, California (December 30, 2019) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle late Sunday night on U.S. Highway 101 in San Jose, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The fatal pedestrian accident happened at around 11:25 p.m. Sunday, December 29 on northbound U.S. Highway 101, just south of Brokaw Road.

The CHP said for an unknown reason, the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on northbound U.S. Highway 101.

The pedestrian, whose name was withheld pending family notification, died in the accident.

As of 12:20 a.m. Monday, all lanes were closed as the investigation took place.

No further details regarding the crash were immediately given.

The accident remains under investigation.
