At Least 1 Injured in San Francisco Accident on 280 Freeway near Westlake Avenue

San Francisco, California (December 30, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a multi-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon in the area of San Francisco, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision happened at around 2:09 p.m. Sunday, December 29, on northbound 280 Freeway, just south of Westlake Avenue.

As per the CHP officials, three vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the crash victims. The number of injured parties and their current condition was not immediately released.

A SigAlert was issued closing lane 3 and 4. The roadway was cleared as of 3:26 p.m.

Further details regarding this crash were not provided.
