Man Killed in Corona Pedestrian Accident near Green River Road

Corona, California (December 8, 2019) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a train Saturday morning in Corona, police said.

The deadly pedestrian accident happened at about 7:40 a.m. Saturday, December 7 near Green River Road.

According to the police, a man was walking on the tracks when for an unknown reason, he was struck by a Burlington Northern Santa Fe train.

The man died at the scene. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.

No other injuries were reported.

The accident remains under investigation.
