Pedestrian Hospitalized after Salinas Crash at Boronda and McKinnon Streets
Salinas, California (February 12, 2020) – A pedestrian was hospitalized following a traffic crash that happened Tuesday morning in the area of Boronda and McKinnon streets in Salinas, authorities said.
The pedestrian was walking across the street inside a crosswalk when they were hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Boronda and McKinnon streets at around 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 11.
The victim, whose name was not immediately disclosed, was transported to a hospital for treatment of minor to moderate injuries.
The driver of the vehicle involved stopped at the scene and told police that he did not notice the victim on the road. He also mentioned sun glare played a role in the accident
The accident remains under investigation.
