4 Hospitalized After Encino Car Accident on North Sepulveda Boulevard
Los Angeles, California (February 11, 2020) – A traffic collision involving three vehicles in Encino neighborhood on Tuesday evening, February 11, sent at least four to the hospital.
According to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department, three people had to be extricated after the multi-vehicle collision that took place in the 3700 block of Sepulveda Boulevard, near Valley Meadow Road.
The circumstances that lead to the collision at about 5:10 p.m. were not immediately disclosed at the time of the report.
A total of five people were injured in the crash. One person sustained critical injuries while the other three parties suffered lesser injuries following the mishap.
Four of the five victims were taken to a hospital by ambulance for further treatment.
The fifth wounded party reportedly refused further medical aid and assistance.
The wreck resulted in the closure of Sepulveda Boulevard in both directions as police conducted the investigation.
The investigation is underway.
