Man Seriously Injured in Victorville Pedestrian Accident on Hesperia Road

Victorville, California (January 23, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle Wednesday night in Victorville, authorities said.

The pedestrian accident happened just before 5:49 a.m. Wednesday, January 22 on Hesperia Road.

According to the authorities, the pedestrian was hit by a 2007 Nissan Frontier on Hesperia Road for an unknown reason.

Paramedics responded to the scene and administered CPR on the pedestrian who unresponsive. The victim, described as a homeless man in his 60s, was then taken to a hospital to be treated for major injuries.

The male driver of the Nissan stopped at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

Hesperia Road was closed between D and C streets following the accident.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
