Fatal Laguna Niguel Pedestrian Crash on Laguna Niguel Streetl

Laguna Niguel, California (December 10, 2019) – The Orange County Sheriff-Coroner is investigating the cause of a pedestrian collision that resulted in the death of one person in Laguna Niguel on Monday night.

The fatal collision happened on Laguna Niguel Street at around 9:10 p.m. December 9.

Police said a tow truck hit a pedestrian while walking on the street for unknown reasons.

The pedestrian sustained critical injuries in the crash. Paramedics responded to the scene shortly after the wreck and transported the patient to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo.

The victim died while undergoing medication at about 9:53 p.m. the same day.

More details regarding the wreck will be released immediately after the completion of the investigation.
