Authorities Identify Man Fatally Struck by Car on Temple Avenue in Pomona

Pomona, California (December 10, 2019) – 65-year-old Edward Albano was the man who was fatally struck by a car early Monday morning in Pomona, authorities said.

The Pasadena man was hit by the car at about 12:20 a.m. on Temple Avenue near 57 Freeway on-ramp, as per the coroner’s office and the Pomona Police Department.

Albano sustained major injuries and died at the crash scene.

The driver of the car stopped and cooperated with authorities.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
