Fatal Pedestrian Crash in Long Beach on Pacific Coast Highway Avenue
Long Beach, California (February 3, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Sunday night in Long Beach, as per a police report.
The collision was reported at around 7:30 p.m. February 2, on Pacific Coast Highway and Caspian Avenue.
According to authorities, the pedestrian was walking north across the Pacific Coast Highway outside of a marked crosswalk when a Toyota Camry struck him. The pedestrian was later hit by a red Chevrolet that fled the scene of the crash.
The pedestrian was killed in the crash.
The driver of the Camry stopped and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
