35-Year-Old Asian Man Killed in Santa Monica Pedestrian Accident on Lincoln Boulevard near Ocean Park Boulevard
Santa Monica, California (February 4, 2020) – A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle Saturday morning in Santa Monica, according to authorities.
The fatal accident happened at around 7:10 a.m. Saturday, February 1 on Lincoln Boulevard near Ocean Park Boulevard.
Authorities said the pedestrian, a 35-year-old Asian man, was on the roadway when, for an unknown reason, he was struck by a vehicle that was heading northbound on Lincoln Boulevard. Reportedly, the man fell into the road from the curb.
The man died before reaching the hospital. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the vehicle involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
