Man, 85, Seriously Injured in Eureka Pedestrian Accident at Walnut Drive and Home Drive
Eureka, California (February 4, 2020) – Authorities said an 85-year-old man was injured when he was struck by a car Monday afternoon in Eureka.
According to Eureka police, who responded to the scene, the crash happened at about 12:53 p.m. at the corner of Walnut Drive and Home Drive.
Eureka firefighters alongside paramedics also responded to the scene.
The elderly man was hospitalized with serious injuries, authorities said.
The factors leading to the accident remained unknown.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
