Person Killed in Wilmington Pedestrian Accident on Avalon Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway

Wilmington, California (February 6, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Thursday morning at an intersection in Wilmington, Los Angeles County.

The fatal pedestrian accident occurred at around 6:15 a.m. at the intersection of Avalon Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway.

Authorities said the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle at the Wilmington intersection.

The victim, whose name was not immediately disclosed, was declared dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The accident remains under investigation.
