1 Person Killed in Nuevo Pedestrian Accident near Ramona Expressway and Lakeview Avenue

Nuevo, California (March 6, 2020) – One person was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident on Wednesday night in Nuevo, according to police.

The crash happened at about 7:25 p.m., on March 4, near the Ramona Expressway and Lakeview Avenue.

The California Highway Patrol said the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection.  A witness told the police the victim was able to get up following the crash.

The victim was declared dead at the scene.

More details about the crash were not available.

The crash remains under investigation.
