1 Trapped After Newberry Springs Traffic Collision on 15 Freeway near Alvord Mountain Road

Newberry Springs, California (January 1, 2020) – At least one person was trapped after a traffic collision involving two vehicles in the area of Newberry Springs on Tuesday night.

The collision, which happened at around 8:33 p.m. December 31, occurred on southbound 15 Freeway, just south of Alvord Mountain Road.

The precious circumstances that lead to the collision of the two vehicles were not disclosed.

One person was reported to have trapped inside one of the involved vehicles upon the impact.

Emergency crews arrived at the site shortly after the wreck and extricated the pinned victim from the wreckage

At least one person sustained major injuries in the accident. The unidentified victim was then airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
