Highway 101 Collision near North Victoria Avenue in Ventura

Ventura, California (January 1, 2020) – Major injuries were sustained in a traffic collision that occurred Wednesday morning on Highway 101 in Ventura, the California Highway Patrol reported.

CHP said the accident involved two vehicles and occurred at about 2:14 a.m. in the southbound lanes near North Victoria Avenue.

Authorities said the crash resulted in major injuries. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to help the victims.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
