Rider Suffer Major Injuries in Sacramento Motorcycle Accident at Northgate and Market Boulevards

Sacramento, California (January 24, 2020) – A motorcycle rider sustained major injuries following a traffic accident that happened Thursday evening at an intersection in Sacramento, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

The crash took place at around 5:43 p.m. Thursday, January 23 at the intersection of Northgate and Market boulevards, near the 80 Freeway.

For an unknown reason, a silver Honda Civic and the motorcyclist collided at the intersection, the CHP report states.

The motorcyclist sustained major injuries and was taken to a hospital. The name and current condition of the rider were not immediately available.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
