1 Killed in Little Rock Pedestrian Accident on Pearblossom Highway
Palmdale Traffic Accident at 25th Street East and East Avenue South Injured 8 Victims
Palmdale, California (January 24, 2019) – A female party was struck and killed by an alleged hit and run motorist in the area of Little Rock at around 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
According to a local news source, the fatal collision took place in the 7600 block of Pearblossom Highway on January 23.
As per the report, an unidentified female pedestrian walking her dog was hit by a white Ford Explorer driven by a male motorist on the highway for unknown reasons.
The victim died in the accident.
The Ford operator fled the scene down the freeway towards Palmdale after hitting the pedestrian.
The Ford Explorer came to rest when it collided with multiple vehicles at the intersection of 25th Street East and East Avenue South.
Officials affirmed a total of eight victims were hurt following the mishap. Two patients who sustained severe injuries, and four who had non-life threatening injuries were all taken to hospitals for treatment.
Meanwhile, the other two patients were treated at the scene by medical personnel and released.
The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department officials arrested the male suspect after the second collision.
The investigation is underway.
