San Jose Motorcycle Crash on Highway 85 near Cottle Road

San Jose, California (February 13, 2020) – Authorities said major injuries were suffered when a motorcycle collided with a car Thursday morning in San Jose.

The incident involved a motorcycle and a white Chevrolet Volt and occurred at about 6:49 a.m. on northbound Highway 85 near Cottle Road.

San Jose firefighters alongside paramedics responded to the scene to find the rider lying on the ground in the center divider.

An unknown number of parties sustained major injuries in the crash, according to authorities.

An investigation to establish the cause of the crash is ongoing.
