Man Dies Following Fatal Fresno Pedestrian Accident on Highway 99 and Jensen Avenue
Fresno, California (February 13, 2020) – A pedestrian died after being hit by a semi-truck Thursday morning on Highway 99 near Jensen Avenue in Fresno, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said the man was standing in the middle of the road at about 3:30 a.m. when he was hit by the truck that was heading northbound on Highway 99.
According to the CHP, a second vehicle also struck the victim.
The man, whose name was not immediately disclosed, died at the scene.
The two drivers remained at the scene.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
