Minor Injury Traffic Crash on Highway 71 near Highway 91 in Corona

Minor Injuries Reported in Corona Truck Accident on Highway 71 near Highway 91

Corona, California (January 7, 2020) – Minor injuries were sustained after a Corona dump truck crash Monday morning in Riverside County, according to authorities.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at about 9:29 a.m. Monday, January 6, on State Route Highway 71 near 91 Freeway.

Officials said a dump truck crashed into a Toyota sedan for reasons still under investigation. The impact sent the sedan into the median.

Responding firefighters along with medical personnel attended to the crash victims. The number of injured parties and their current condition were not immediately known.

No additional information regarding this collision was released.

An investigation is ongoing.
