Minor Injuries Sustained in Hayward Car Accident on 880 Freeway and Highway 238

Hayward, California (January 21, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Hayward car accident that took place on late Monday morning on northbound 880 Freeway, just south of Highway 238.

According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation on Monday, January 20, at around 11:09 a.m.

Responding firefighters along with medical personnel attended to the wounded parties. The total number of patients and their current condition was not immediately released.

The vehicles were blocking lane 2 and 3 following the crash.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.

No other information regarding this crash was provided.
