Michael Keyser Killed in Fiery Crash on Interstate 15 in Hesperia

Michael Keyser ID’d Good Samaritan Killed in Hesperia Crash on Interstate 15

Hesperia, California (January 23, 2020) – Police officers have identified that man who was killed saving a victim of a fiery crash n weekend in Hesperia, as Michael Robert Keyser, 49, of Hesperia, police said.

The incident occurred on the weekend on Interstate 15, south of Hodge Road.

Authorities said a two tractor-trailer were involved in the collision for reasons still under investigation. Keyser was trying to save one of the drivers who tractor overturned, and in flames, when he died.

Keyser was on his way to work at Elementary Specialities mining facility in Newberry Springs when he came across the crash.

No other details of the crash were immediately released.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
