Mary Griffin Hospitalized after in Gerber on Gerber Road
Gerber, California ( January 9, 2020) – 74-year-old Mary Ann Griffin of Corning has been identified as one of the victims injured in the Gerber vehicle crash on Tuesday morning, as per a police report.
The collision took place at around 7:50 a.m. January 7, on Gerber Road near the intersection of Highway 99W.
The CHP said a 1990 Ford Mustang was traveling east on Gerber Road when the driver pulled from the roadway into the intersection at the highway, directly in the path of a 2017 Ford E-450 Trax (Tehama County) transit bus. The bus slammed into the passenger side of the Ford.
Griffin, a passenger on the bus, was among the people injured in the crash, and they were taken to Mercy Medical Center for treatment.
The crash is still under investigation.
