At Least 1 Hospitalized after Burbank Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 5 near Olive Avenue

Burbank, California (March 19, 2020) – Major injuries were reported in an accident involving multiple cars on Thursday morning in Burbank, as per a police report.

The crash occurred on March 19, at around 11:15 a.m. on Interstate 5 near Olive Avenue.

The California Highway Patrol said three vehicles, a red Kia Forte SUV, a semi-truck and a white Toyota Yaris were involved in the crash for reasons still under investigation.

Police said at least one person sustained major injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

The driver of the semi-truck fled the scene of the crash.

No other injuries were reported.

Police are investigating the circumstances under which the collision occurred.
