Joe Faz Killed in Fresno County 3-Vehicle Crash at Highway 180 and Chateau Fresno
Fresno, California – As per the authorities, the man who died following a Fresno County 3 vehicle crash on Wednesday afternoon is identified as Joe Faz, a 68-year-old from Sanger.
At around 1:40 pm on Wednesday, the deadly collision happened at the intersection of Highway 180 and Chateau Fresno.
The CHP has stated that the first vehicle was westbound on Highway 180 that slowed down to turn on Chateau Fresno. At the same time, a driver of the big rig on the same highway did not see the vehicle turning and he took left onto the path of an eastbound vehicle leading into a fatal crash.
Joe was the passenger traveling in a vehicle that was eastbound and was killed in the accident. However, the driver sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the Community Regional Medical Center.
It is not believed to be the influence of Alcohol or Drugs as the cause of the accident.
The crash is still under investigation.
