Driver Killed in Fresno County Crash with Utility Box Truck Friday Afternoon

Fresno County, California – Following a Fresno County accident that happened on Friday afternoon involving a utility box truck in Temperance and Central Avenues, a person was killed.

The CHP stated that at around 1 pm, a woman was driving Honda Civic northbound on Temperance Avenue and she failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection. Her Honda was hit by an Isuzu box truck traveling eastbound on Central Avenue.

Due to the impact of the crash, the driver of the Honda was declared dead at the scene.

However, another passenger was taken to the Community Regional Medical Center for the treatment of severe injuries.

The California Highway Patrol further added that alcohol and drugs were not believed to be the cause of this accident.

The case is still under investigation
