Female Pedestrian Killed in Saugus Crash on Copper Hill Drive and Gold Canyon Drive ID’d

Saugus, California (December 14, 2019) – Authorities have identified Heidi Levy, 69, of Santa Clarita, as the woman who died after being hit by a vehicle Friday night in Saugus.

The deadly crash, which was reported at about 9:15 p.m. Friday, December 13, happened on Copper Hill Drive and Gold Canyon Drive.

According to the report, Levy was hit by a vehicle at the Saugus intersection.

Levy was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The eastbound lane of Copper Hill Drive was shut down while authorities investigated the cause of the accident.
