Victim Killed in Orange Pedestrian Accident on Meats Avenue ID’d as Gilberto Andrade

Orange, California (January 22, 2020) – 51-year-old Gilberto Marin Andrade of Orange has been identified as the victim who was struck and killed by a vehicle in the area of Orange on Tuesday evening.

The fatal collision occurred on January 14, on Meats Avenue at Nordic Street.

Marin was reportedly walking across the street when he was hit by an oncoming vehicle at the intersection.

Mr. Gilberto Marin died in the accident at about 6:13 p.m.

The operator of the involved vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the law.

The accident resulted in the closure of Meats Avenue between Tustin Street to Canal Street as police conducted the investigation.
