San Francisco, California (January 22, 2020) – 36-year-old Shelly Murphy has been identified as the female victim who was struck and killed by a car in San Francisco on Saturday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash took place on Interstate 280 Freeway near the Cesar Chavez Boulevard on-ramp at about 8:00 p.m. on January 18.
As per the CHP report, a white Toyota Highlander hit Murphy in the far left southbound lane for undisclosed reasons.
Murphy was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
Limited details about the wreck have been released to this time.
The CHP is still investigating the cause of the fatal accident.
