2 Hurt in Fairfield Car Accident at Texas Street and Transportation Court

Fairfield, California (January 6, 2020) – Two persons were injured after a fiery head-on collision Saturday night in the area of Fairfield, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision happened at the intersection of Texas Street and Transportation Court near the 80 Freeway at about 10:32 p.m. Saturday, January.

Authorities said two vehicles were involved in the collision. One of the cars burst into flames as a result of the collision.

Responding emergency crews rendered aid to the injured parties. One person suffered severe injuries while another party sustained minor injuries following the collision. The two patients were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The name of the wounded parties and their current condition were not immediately released.
