59-Year-Old Woman Seriously Injured in Lodi Bicycle Crash near Tejon and Lower Sacramento Road
Lodi, California (February 6, 2020) – A 59-year-old woman was seriously injured after a bicycle accident Sunday morning in Lodi, according to a local news source.
The crash happened at about 10:49 a.m., February 2, near Tejon and Lower Sacramento Road.
As per the report, the woman was riding her bicycle north on Lower Sacramento Road when she was struck by a vehicle. The car was reportedly turning from Tejon Street when the crash occurred.
Police said the involved motorist claimed that they didn’t see the bicyclist on time.
The woman sustained major injuries and was rushed to an area hospital with a broken leg. Her name and condition were not available.
The crash remains under investigation.
