Daniel Chuong Fatal Santa Monica Pedestrian Crash on Lincoln Boulevard and Ocean Park Boulevard
Santa Monica, California (February 6, 2020) – The Los Angeles coroner has identified the man killed by a vehicle on Saturday morning in Santa Monica, as Daniel Chuong, 34, police said.
The collision took place at around 7:10 a.m. February 1, at Lincoln Boulevard and Ocean Park Boulevard.
According to the Santa Monica Police Department, Chuong was struck y a vehicle traveling north on Lincoln Boulevard for unknown reasons.
Chuong sustained major head trauma, and he succumbed to his injuries while being transported to the hospital.
The driver of the vehicle involved stopped and cooperated with the police.
No other details of the crash were immediately released.
The crash remains under investigation.
