1 Killed, 5 Injured After 5-Vehicles Crashed on 905 Freeway near Beyer Boulevard in San Diego
San Diego, California (January 8, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a multi-vehicle collision that resulted in the death of one person in San Diego on Tuesday evening.
The fatal collision happened on Interstate 905 Freeway near Beyer Boulevard at approximately 9:15 p.m. January 7.
The CHP said five vehicles collided on the highway for unknown reasons.
Two people who were trapped in one of the involved vehicles were extricated from the wreckage by paramedics, along with firefighters.
One unidentified person was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
A total of five victims sustained unspecified injuries and were all hospitalized.
Meanwhile, the fatal crash remains under an active investigation.
