Marco Bejarano Struck and Killed by Vehicle Near Bushard Street and Talbert Avenue in Fountain Valley
Fountain Valley, California (January 8, 2020) – The Fountain Valley police have released the name of the motorcyclist who was killed in a traffic collision that happened in Fountain Valley on Monday morning.
The motorcycle accident took place in the area of Bushard Street and Talbert Avenue at about 11:24 a.m. on January 6.
The accident involved a 2001 Harley-Davidson Sportster ridden by 24-year-old Marco Bejarano of Mission Viejo and a 2019 Chevrolet Trax operated by 91-year-old Corona man.
Officials said Bejarano suffered major injuries following the wreck. Bejarano died at the hospital, where he was admitted after the accident.
The elderly man driving the Trax remained at the scene and cooperated with the law.
The crash resulted in the closures of southbound lanes of Bushard and westbound lanes of Talbert near the intersection up to about 3:15 p.m.
meanwhile, drugs or alcohol were not suspected factors in the collision.
