19-Year-Old Timoteo Gomez Arrested After DUI Two-Vehicle Accident at Mabury Road and Timothy Drive in San Jose
San Jose, California (January 8, 2020) – Two people were hurt in an alleged DUI traffic collision that happened on Monday evening in San Jose, according to the San Jose police Officer Gina Tepoorten.
The two-vehicle collision happened at about 7:30 p.m. on January 6, at Mabury Road and Timothy Drive.
As per the report, 19-year-old Timoteo Gomez, a San Jose resident, was driving a silver-colored 2003 Mercedes-Benz at the intersection when he collided with a 2004 Honda Accord operated by a male party for unknown reasons.
The Mercedes then struck a large business sign, which caused it to flip and came to a rest on the 900 block of Mabury Road.
Gomez and an 18-year-old female passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.
Both victims were transported to a hospital for medication.
Meanwhile, the Honda motorist was not hurt following the collision.
Gomez was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after the wreck.
The investigation is underway.
