Fatal Pedestrian versus Big Rig Crash in South Sacramento

One Killed in South Sacramento Pedestrian Crash on Highway 99 at 47th Avenue

South Sacramento, California (January 31, 2020) – One person was killed after a South Sacramento pedestrian versus big rig crash on Thursday, according to authorities.

The crash happened on Highway 99 at 47th Avenue, January 30.

The authorities said the accident involved a big rig and a pedestrian.

One person died after the crash.

The two lanes of Highway 99 in the area of 47th Avenue were reopened as of 9:10 p.m.

More details about the crash were not immediately available.

An investigation is underway.
