Elani Gross and Cherisa Cole Hospitalized after Palmdale Accident on 50th Street East near Avenue N
Palmdale, California (January 8, 2020) – Police officers gave identified two victims injured in a fatal vehicle crash on Monday morning in Palmdale, as Elani M.Gross, 25, and Cherisa R. Cole, 32, police said.
The collision took place at around 9:35 a.m. January 6, on 50th Street East near Avenue N.
The California Highway Patrol said Lincoln Town Car was heading northbound on 50th Street when it drifted into the southbound lanes and collided head-on with a 2013 Subaru Legacy, driven Gross.
The driver of the Lincoln was killed in the crash. Gross and Cole, a passenger in the Lincoln, sustained major injuries in the crash, and they were taken to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment.
No other details of the crash were immediately released.
The crash is still under investigation.
