Minor Injuries Sustained in La Mesa Car Collision on Highway 125 near 8 Freeway

La Mesa, California (January 14, 2020) – Authorities said minor injuries were suffered in a DUI related car crash that happened Monday afternoon in La Mesa.

The California Highway Patrol said the wreck occurred at about 5:22 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Highway 125 near 8 Freeway.

Officers did not mention the manner of the collision but said alcohol or drugs were involved in the crash.

An unknown number of parties sustained minor injuries. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to offer medical aid.

CHP is investigating the accident.
