Denine Stamps ID’d as Woman Killed in Hemet Pedestrian Crash on Galicia Drive near Cologne Drive

Hemet, California (February 3, 2020) – The Riverside County Coroner’s Bureau has identified the woman who was hit and killed by a vehicle Friday afternoon in Hemet as Denine Stamps, 54, of Riverside.

The deadly pedestrian happened at around 12:59 p.m. Friday, January 31 in the 44000 block of Galicia Drive near Cologne Drive.

Authorities said Stamps reportedly exited her vehicle and was hit by a truck.

Stamps was taken to Riverside University Health System Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries at around 1:57 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
