1 Killed after Driver Runs Red Light at Jarvis Drive and Sutter Boulevard in Morgan Hill

Morgan Hill, California (January 14, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a fatal car accident that happened Monday morning in Morgan Hill, killing one person.

According to Morgan Hill Police Department, two vehicles collided at about 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of Jarvis Drive and Sutter Boulevard.

Rescuers found a male party trapped in one of the cars. That person had significant injuries and was unresponsive. The victim was extricated and pronounced dead at the scene.

A witness told police that one of the drivers ran a red light, and the vehicles collided.

Both vehicles were found on the northeast shoulder of the intersection with major damage.

The crash is under an active investigation.
