David Fletcher Killed, Driver Arrested in Motorcycle Crash on Coffee Road in Bakersfield 

David Fletcher Dies in Bakersfield Motorcycle Crash on Coffee Road

Bakersfield, California (January 3, 2020) – Police officers have identified the motorcyclist killed in an accident involving a vehicle and a motorcycle on Tuesday in Bakersfield, as David Fletcher, according to a police report.

The deadly crash took place on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, on Coffee Road just north of the Intersection at Gosford Road and Stockdale Highway.

Authorities said Trumonikia Fields-Johnson, 40, was riding a white SUV north on Coffee Road and made unsafe lane change when she struck a motorcycle driven by Fletcher.

Fletcher was severely injured and taken to Kern Medical for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries on Friday, January 3.

No Other details of the crash were immediately released.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
